U6L High Pressure Ultra Low Flow Back Pressure Regulator

The U6L1 is the most popular port size in the U6L series. The 1/8 ports are available in NPT or BSPP ISO-G, as well as client specified custom port connections. These sizes are a good match with the low flow rate and high pressure (up to 6000psi/400 Bar) catalysis research applications whre the U6L is commonly used. U6L regulators come in 1/16″, 1/8″, and 1/4″ port sizes.

UL Units
Equilibar’s Research Series is designed to meet the demanding requirements of catalyst research and high pressure reactor control applications. All our Research products hold stable pressure across very wide flow ranges, and can handle liquids, gases, or multi-phase mixtures. These products are commonly used with highly aggressive chemicals, and can perform at temperatures up to 450C.

Equilibar Research Series units are 1:1 dome-loaded, meaning that a pilot pressure must be supplied to the dome of the BPR equal to the desired set-point. This pilot pressure can be supplied by a manual gas regulator, or by an electronic pressure regulator for computer automation.

The UL series uses a single outlet orifice design. Your application engineer may recommend the UL Series in certain ultra-low flow applications.
