Product Description
FDO16 Sanitary Back Pressure Regulator

FDO16 Sanitary Back Pressure Regulator

The FDO16 is a 2″ high-flow sanitary back pressure regulator with the ability to quickly retain system pressure in liquid or gas systems. Tri-Clamp ferrules are standard, though tube stubs are an available option. The 2″ size is conveniently sized for Clean-in-Place systems or as a means of controlling large streams in BioPharma or hygienic industrial blending streams. FD Series
The FD back pressure regulator family is specifically designed as a sanitary regulator for use in bio-pharma, food, and other applications where there are surface finish, clean-in-place, drainability, or USP class VI material requirements. Also known as pressure sustaining valves, the FDO series is typically manufactured from polished stainless steel 316L and enhanced PTFE as the only wetted parts. A flexible membrane diaphragm is the only moving part. This membrane instantly responds to changes in the system flow rate to accurately maintain the pressure at the desired set point. The FD) series is the most accurate and highest resolution sanitary back pressure regulator on the market. The FDO is a pilot operated design and will control the system pressure in a precise 1 to 1 relationship with the pressure applied to the pilot port. This pilot pressure may be provided by a manually adjustable spring loaded regulator or from an electronically controlled pressure regulator. The FDO’s simple design allows for extremely fast disassembly and field repair using low cost rebuild kits.
