Equilibar back pressure regulators (BPR) are dome-loaded control valves with pilot operation. This means that gas or air is fed into the top (dome) area of the regulator to provide the pressure setpoint for the process. The pressure of the gas in the dome is set by a secondary standard pressure regulator called a pilot regulator. Below are some electronic pressure controllers that can be coupled with Equilibar BPRs for easy automation in a variety of applications. Contact an Equilibar engineer for more information.
Equilibar EPC
High Resolution Electronic Pressure Controller
- Operating range 0-150 psig
- For inert gas
- Dual analog valve construction
- Digital or analog communications (0-10V, 4-20mA, 3.3V Serial Digital)
- CE certified models
- Not intended for hazardous/explosive environments
The EPC is an electronic closed-loop pressure control valve consisting of a micro controller, integrated pressure sensor, two proportional valves. The design allows for steady, repeatable downstream pressure as demand or processes change.
- Smooth linear control
- Integrated internal or external sensor feedback
- Multiple flow configurations
- Static or dynamic applications with the same proportional control
- Proportional fill and bleed control
- Customizable pressure ranges and mounting options
- No integral bleed required
Equilibar EHP
Electronic High Pressure Controller
- Operating range 0-500 psig
- For inert gas
- Dual analog valve construction
- Digital or analog communications (0-10V, 4-20mA, 3.3V Serial Digital)
- Not intended for hazardous/explosive environments
The EHP is a complete closed loop controller consisting of two internal solenoid valves, a manifold, an electronic control circuit and a pressure transducer all contained in a protective IP65 rated housing. It controls the pressure at its outlet port based on an electrical command signal input. The EHP is available in a range of calibrated pressures up to 500 psig (35 bar(g)). It can be configured for 0 -10 VDC or 4-20 mA analog signal types or 3.3V serial digital.
- Smooth linear control
- Integrated internal or external sensor feedback
- Static applications
- Customizable pressure ranges and mounting options
