Back Pressure Regulators Used to Improve Water Treatment Plant

  • Equilibar white paper on chemical dosing

The City of Tempe, Arizona recently completed a water quality upgrade to their 50 million gallon/day water treatment facility. This project included an upgrade to their dosing systems for Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), which is used to disinfect the water. Special materials (CPVC, PTFE, and hastelloy) were required as Sodium Hypochlorite will corrode standard materials such as Stainless Steel and Buna.

Learn how Equilibar back pressure regulators were used to significantly improve both precision and dosing range at the Tempe plant. Read details in our Whitepaper.
