Julie Detmering has been with Equilibar since the company was founded in 2007 and knows all its ins and outs. She oversees export compliance and is a graduate of the Export Leadership Academy, a training program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. She also serves on our tactical leadership team.

“I enjoy our clients because they are courteous and respectful,” she says. “Even if they have an issue they are so thankful for the help that I am able to give them.”

A graduate of Meredith College, Julie is the mother of two young boys and stays busy with baseball, school and other family activities. “I love to go hiking with my boys and my pup. I enjoy showing them the world around them from different aspects and places.”

Julie also organizes ongoing blood drives for Equilibar team members, vendors and friends. “I’ve always given blood but when I needed it myself, I became an even stronger advocate for donating the gift of life.”
