India Sales Rep

Equilibar is currently seeking a dedicated full-time commissioned National Sales Representative / Manager for the Bio-pharmaceutical market in India.

Equilibar manufactures high quality back pressure regulators which span many industries, however the target market for our representative in India is Bio-pharmaceutical. Equilibar products are not considered commodity products but are instead considered precise high value pieces of instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with potential customers regarding the benefits and and advantages of Equilibar products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key persons in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in India
  • Provide quotations to potential customers
  • Accept shipments from Equilibar and deliver them to the end user
  • Become competent in import procedures/taxes/duties (Equilibar will handle these initially)

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • At least one of the following:
    • 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Process Engineer in the biopharmaceutical industry
    • 5+ years’ experience at a valve / fitting / instrumentation company
  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics
  • Extensive contacts in the bio-pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong English speaking skills
  • Strong sales and relationship management skills
  • Located near biotechnology parks or willing to relocate (Mumbai, Hyderabad, etc.)
  • Willing to travel within India nearly full time
  • Willing to travel to the United States for training for several weeks at least once a year
