Incredibly stable vacuum control across varying flow rates!

Equilibar® now introduces a new type of vacuum regulator with more than 5X the flow stability of traditional spring regulators. That means that your vacuum process can remain stable even through wide variations in flow rate and supply pressures.

  • Uses a convenient 20-turn knob to adjust vacuum set-point
  • Is installed between your vacuum pump and your process
  • Controls in range 0 - 30 inHg
  • Sizes available 1/4" through 2"

Now Available in larger pipe sizes


The Equilibar Precision Vacuum Regulator is now available in larger pipe sizes by utilizing a weight-saving welded construction design. Same incredible precision at pipe sizes up to 2" NPT(standard) with larger sizes and other end fittings upon request. All EVR regulators 1" and larger will be quoted using this welded construction unless requested otherwise.

Using the Equilibar® Vacuum Regulator


Using our new precision vacuum regulator is a snap. Simply connect your vacuum pump or house vacuum utililty to the Outlet port. Connect your process requiring precision vacuum control to the Inlet port. Adjust vacuum knob to achieve the desired vacuum level.

This chart shows flat line pressure stability across an incredible 4 orders of flow rate magnitude. Competitive data, where available, is typically published across a narrow range of flow.

Why is ultra low flow performance important? If your flow rate falls below the minimum for the regulator, then excessive vacuum can result.

How the Equilibar® Vacuum Regulator works


Our new vacuum regulator uses the same patented technology as the Equilibar® Precision Back Pressure Regulator, and can precisely match your process pressure to that of a fluid reference, or signal pressure.

The Equilibar® Vacuum Regulator contains a highly sensitive 20-turn vacuum pressure regulator on the top to conveniently generate this set-point pressure. Taken together, these two regulators provide highly sensitive and stable control with all the simplicity and convenience of the traditional products.

Selecting the right size
