EB1HP1 high pressure back pressure regulator
The EB1HP1 back pressure regulator can provide precision control for high pressure applications up to 5000 psig.

High Pressure Back Pressure Regulators

Equilibar's Research Series back pressure regulator offer precision performance for high pressure applications up to 5000 psig. These regulators provide stable inlet pressure across widely varying flow rates, for liquid, gas, and mixed phase fluids.

We can provide diaphragms of Stainless Steel 316, Polyimide, and Hastelloy for in this pressure range.

Our EB1HP1 regulator, shown at right, is recommended for higher pressure services above 1000 or 1500 psig. Details for the EB1HP1 can be found in our Research Series Brochure.

Typical port connections for high pressure applications are:

  • 1/8" or 1/4" NPT
  • 1/16" or 1/8" HPLC (Valco-style)
  • Others as requested (Speed-Bite, SAE 1926-1

Regulators larger than 1/4" are typically configured for pressures less than 1000 psig (see standard product details). However, we are able to provide high pressure versions of larger industrial regulators upon request.

Because our technology is dome-loaded, a set-point reference pressure is required on our reference port equal to the desired inlet pressure (1:1). Equilibar sells both manual regulators (up to 5000 psig) and electronic pressure regulators (up to 1000 psig) to provide the set-point for these high pressure applications.
